About Mark Groves Photography

Hello my name is Mark Groves, and I am an amateur photographer, my day job is as a Program Manager at Microsoft.  I have enjoyed photography for many years, but I really started to get serious a few years ago when my son was born and I purchased my first digital SLR, a Canon 20D. 

The purpose of this site is to simply share some of my photographs in the hopes that you will enjoy them.  Since getting serious about photography I have started to see the world in a different way, and encourage others to get out and take some photographs of the world around you, whether it is with an expensive dSLR, or a simple camera phone.  I am still learning everyday and welcome any constructive criticism you might have.  If you don't like a photograph for some reason, please, let me know.  Also if there is something you really like about a shot, those comments are always welcome. 

If you really like one of my photographs and would like to purchase a print, I have made all of my photographs available for purchase through Fotomoto.  Just click on Buy Print below the photograph you are interesting in buying.  Each print is made on professional Kodak ENDURA paper, in Fotomoto's multi-million dollar printing facilities.
