We had a full day in Medicine Park, Oklahoma yesterday. Being the offseason here, the town was a little slow. But, that made it nice to get out and take a motorcycle ride around the area and visit the local animal sanctuary. It was cool seeing Bison in what would have been their native habitat. The ride through the park gave us one of the rare viewing locations as Mt. Scott is the highest point in the area. The landscape here is definitely unusual, very rocky soil, it is surprising that anything grew here.

The people have been very friendly. Which was unsurprising. Since every one that visits our town from Oklahoma is very friendly and respectful of the area. We can always pickout the tourist from Oklahoma.
