Yesterday was our last day in Clarksdale, and as expected we got to see some great live music and eat some great food. The city doesn’t have many venues, but every place turns into a music join with a small setup. No stage needed. Even Red’s which is a pretty famous location doesn’t have a raised stage, and the audience is feet away from the band. You sit where you can on mismatched furnature in what looks like a thrift store had a good day. I’m happy we tried out this city, and would recommend it to anyone even slightly interested in live music. The guy that may be bussing your table at one resturaunt very well could be the lead singer and guitarist at your next stop.

Today we are headed to Memphis, Tenessee. A short ride for us, but hopefully we will be able to get in before the rain starts. Although the bikes could sure use a washing.
