We had a great day of riding yesterday. We took as many backroads as we could from Memphis to Linden Tennessee. There is some beautiful countryside in this area, that you can’t see from the highway. The roads weren’t quite as hilly or crooked (as they say in Arkansas), as the Ozarks, but they were fun. Taking these smaller roads does take longer, but we are not really in a hurry. And the time seems to pass more enjoyably while riding a backroad in Tennessee than pushing the bike on a faceless highway.

Today we are headed to Nashville for a few days. I’ve never been, and if you like music as I do, it seems like a place that you just have to visit. I’m not a huge country music fan, but some of the artists have grown on me over the years. And I know we will be able to find live music.
